Vampire Facial

Vampire Facials are typically recommended for individuals who have mild to moderate skin aging or damage and wish to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars. Ideal candidates should be in good overall health, not pregnant or breastfeeding, and have reasonable expectations about the outcome of the procedure. This treatment is not recommended for individuals with bleeding disorders, blood-borne illnesses, or active skin infections or conditions in the area to be treated. 

While the Vampire Facial treatment may cause slight discomfort during the blood draw and the microneedling process, we make every effort to minimize it, primarily by applying a numbing cream before commencing the procedure. Post-treatment downtime is usually minimal. You may experience mild redness, swelling, or tenderness in the treated area, but these side effects are temporary, typically subsiding within a day or two. 

PRP plays a vital role in accelerating the healing of micro-wounds caused by the microneedling, reducing recovery time. Most of our patients find they can resume their normal daily activities immediately after their Vampire Facial treatment. You can expect to see the visible results of your treatment within a few weeks, with optimal results visible after the completion of the entire treatment series.

The number of Vampire Facial treatments you will need depends on several variables including your skin type, specific skin concerns, and ultimate beauty goals. Most often, we suggest a series of 3-6 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart for optimal, transformative results. 

Following this cycle, maintenance treatments may be required every 6-12 months to keep your skin looking its radiant best. The longevity of the Vampire Facial results can vary based on factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and overall health. However, typically, the rejuvenating effects of this advanced facial treatment can last up to a year.

• Refrain from consuming blood-thinning medications and supplements such as aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, and vitamin E one week prior to your treatment.
• Avoid alcohol and smoking at least two days before the procedure.
• IMPORTANT: Hydrate sufficiently leading up to your treatment day.
• Arrive for your procedure with a clean, makeup-free face.

• Do not wash your face up to 12 hours following your Vampire Facial.
• Refrain from applying makeup for a minimum of 24 hours after the treatment.
• Avoid exfoliation or use of retinol products for three days post-treatment.
• Minimize exposure to direct sunlight or extremely cold temperatures for the initial 48 hours.
• Steer clear from heavy exercise, swimming, or any activities that induce excessive sweating for at least 24 hours post-treatment.
• Maintain hydration by drinking plenty of water.
