It can progress to higher dosages as needed to see the results. As an example, treating your forehead can range anywhere from five to 30 units or more. It generally takes about 3-14 days before you can see the effects of Botox or Dysport treatment on your skin, with the best results achieved after 14 days. After 14 days, you can decide whether or not you want additional units or wait for it to wear off until your next treatment, approximately three to four months later.

It can cause temporary bruising and swelling on the injection sites. If you bruise easily, ensure to follow the aftercare instructions following the treatment to avoid these effects. You may also feel headaches, forehead heaviness, and flu-like symptoms after the treatment.
