What is Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 ushers in a new era for skin rejuvenation with its non-invasive facial and body treatments.
Combining radio-frequency energy and microneedling to deliver remarkable outcomes, it stimulates collagen production to provide smooth, firm, youthful-looking skin. Morpheus8 has revolutionized the aesthetics industry with its unique blend of technology, earning its place as a highly desirable non-surgical service.
The magic of Morpheus8 lies in its dual RF energy and microneedling process that addresses various skin issues while boosting collagen creation. Collagen, a key structural protein in connective tissues, undergoes controlled degradation when heated between 41°C and 43°C. Over six weeks, the collagen treated during a Morpheus8 session regenerates, improving skin tightness and quality significantly.
Morpheus8 offers flexibility as it can be used across the face, neck, and body to tackle a wide spectrum of skin concerns. A perfect candidate for Morpheus8, apart from being in a good overall health, is someone seeking to enhance their skin texture and appearance. However, it’s not advisable for pregnant or breastfeeding individuals, pacemaker users, or those with active skin conditions like eczema. It’s also not recommended for those on Isotretinoin (Accutane®) medication unless discontinued for at least six months before the treatment.

What can I expect from the Morpheus8 treatment at Youthful You Aesthetics?
Your Morpheus8 journey initiates with a complimentary consultation, where our medical consultants evaluate if you’re a suitable candidate based on your medical history and specific conditions. A bespoke Morpheus8 treatment plan is then designed to meet your unique conditions, budget, and expectations.
On the procedure day, a topical numbing cream is applied to ensure your comfort during the treatment and a specialized Morpheus8 hand-piece delivers micro needling and radiofrequency. After the procedure, a medical-grade skin care ointment will be applied and our Aesthetics Nurse will provide post-treatment instructions.
How can I maximize the benefits of Morpheus8 treatment and how long can I expect the results to last?
To maximize the efficacy of your Morpheus8 treatment, we recommend a PRP or EXOSOME treatment immediately post-procedure. This enhances the treatment’s effectiveness, expedites the skin’s healing process and reduces downtime. In terms of longevity, while everyone’s skin is unique, most patients can expect the benefits of Morpheus8 to last for about a year. Although results are often progressive, the full benefits of collagen regeneration typically materialize several weeks post-treatment.
How many Morpheus8 sessions will I need and what does the treatment feel like?
The number of necessary Morpheus8 sessions varies, depending on individual goals and specific concerns. Generally, we suggest 3-6 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart to reap full benefits, with annual treatments for maintenance. Regarding the sensation during treatment, Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive procedure that can cause mild discomfort. Patients often report feelings of warmth, slight pressure, or a mild tingling sensation. This discomfort is managed by the application of a topical numbing cream prior to the procedure.

Pre-Treatment Guidelines
- Avoid Sun Exposure: You must avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds, and sunburn for a minimum of 2 weeks prior to treatment. It is mandatory to apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30+ daily to protect your skin.
- Discontinue Retinoids and Exfoliants: Stop using retinol, tretinoin, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), and beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) at least 3 to 5 days before your treatment. Continuing these products may result in skin sensitivity and potential adverse reactions.

- Hydrate: Stay adequately hydrated by drinking plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment to ensure optimal skin condition.
- Shave the Treatment Area: If the treatment area includes facial hair, shave the area thoroughly the day before your procedure. Do not wax, tweeze, or use depilatory creams.
- Arrive Makeup-Free: Ensure your face is completely clean and free from any makeup, lotions, or skincare products on the day of treatment. This reduces the risk of infection and ensures a successful procedure.
